THE KENTMERE CLUB REVIEW

Hello there! Today I am sharing with you my experience at the Kentmere Club. It is located along the Limuru-Tigoni-Banana road and is an old colonial charm that dates back to the 1920s. It was then an exclusive members club, serving mostly patrons of the nearby shooting range who would come to have their lunch and dinner here. The club has however opened its doors to the public in recent times. If you plan to visit Kentmere, you will particularly enjoy the charm of the interiors, the fireplace that adds a lot of romance and fond memories and also the restaurant that opens up to beautiful gardens packed with nature’s richness.

I had a really good time here. It’s such a perfect environment for a day when you just want to relax, probably meditate and read a book. It is so quiet and chill, the most you get to hear is birds chirping. If only I could wake to this every day!

The food was so delicious and full of flavor to say the least. And for a place like this you would think their prices are too high, but no.

Limuru’s cold weather gave me an opportunity to layer my outfit of the day. I went with brown tones. My outfit was a pair of black jeans, a beige sweater top and brown boots. I then layered it with a brown trench coat. Perfect look for cold weather.

In case you are looking to escape the city’s chaos for a minute, or are looking for the perfect place for a date with your significant other, definitely give Kentmere a shot. I loved everything about this hidden gem, not forgetting how professional and hospitable the staff are.

If you do visit please let me know how your experience was. And as always, thank you so much for reading.
