THE OFF SHOULDER SERIES (PART ONE)

Hello readers and welcome to today’s post. How are you faring? I’m doing good and feeling so grateful for all the positive feedback I get from you every time I post.  So today I’m introducing a series to the blog titled “The off shoulder series”. This idea was suggested by one of my readers who also happens to be a good friend. Hey Teshy, I know you are reading this!

So why ‘’the off shoulder’’? I don’t know if it’s just me but I usually feel more comfortable giving my look an edgy feel by showing off some shoulder as opposed to showing off my legs or waist. I’m not saying I do not wear my dresses, but let’s face it, the first thing we all think about when we wake up is, which pair of jeans am I wearing today?

The off shoulder gives you both a casual, a business casual and an official vibe all in one. It all depends on how you decide to pair it. This means that whatever the occasion off shoulder pieces comes in handy. If you do not have one, you need to go get one. It is definitely a wardrobe essential.

So today being the off shoulder series part one, I decided to keep things really simple and easy. I did a business casual look. I wore my checked pants which are bit short to create a casual vibe. I paired the pants with a chiffon off shoulder top and spiced things up a little with my all-time hat! Since I was in all black and white I decided to add some pop of colour by wearing my red pair. My hairdo was quite long so I decided against having a long neck-piece on. I went for a simple choker instead.

To cap it all up I’d say this is a look you can definitely rock to the office on Fridays, or if your company is holding a conference or an evening cocktail. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a day or night event. Go there in style!
